Ambassadors of european and olympic values 2022/2023 – season 8
Our 12 young European ambassadors, accompanied by 6 French Service Civiques, are ready to take action throughout the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, with priority given to areas outside the Bordeaux metropolitan area and the Gironde département that are far from mobility projects, particularly in schools, leisure and sports centres, sports clubs for people with disabilities, youth clubs and local radio stations, to raise awareness of European and Olympic values among the inhabitants of Gironde department in the run-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Within our association we are convinced that, through this project, we are providing our young volunteers with the opportunity to take part in solidarity activities designed to bring about positive changes in society, by promoting positive and active European citizenship through mobility and exchanges, all based on the three fundamental values of Olympism: excellence, friendship and respect.
By stimulating the desire for mobility among the youngest, by opening their minds, introducing them to other cultures, teaching them languages and sharing our own travel experiences with them, we are creating real levers for their personal development and/or professional integration.
What’s more, we’re delighted to announce that with this new season we’re opening to new countries – Austria and Ireland. We wish this new season of the Ambassadors for European and Olympic Values good luck!
